- Samantha sends Surancebay emails to agents for the carriers listed in table below. Equis sends email through GPM.
- Equis then sends contracting to carrier for pre-appointed with Americo, GPM, and Foresters.
- The contracting for all other carriers is held at Equis until first application is submitted.
- Managers need to review the pre-appointment grid in New Agent Training: STEP 1 for carriers who require pre-appointment.
- Equis will make an exception for Pre-Appointment states and send contracting to Carriers as required.
- If a carrier requires pre-appointment in a specific state, such as PA, then the manager needs to send email to Samantha to request that Equis sends the contracting to the carrier for pre-appointment.
+ Foresters will contract agents without E&O but agents are required to have E&O to write the Smart UL product.

*If an agent has been previously contracted with a carrier and its less than 6 months from being contracted or submitting business to that carrier, then the MANAGER needs to notify Samantha before the agent completes contracting profile.
The agent will not receive Surancebay email for that carrier if its been less than 6 months.

- Equis Profile Management System (EPMS) - this is used to collect the information and documents from the agents.

- Contracting Profile is completed by agent and is reviewed by Samantha. This is completed in the EPMS.
- Missing Requirements - if agent has missing requirements in the Contracting Profile, then Samantha sends the agent an email through the EPMS. Hiring Manager is copied on this email.
Click Here to view a sample of the Missing Requirements email sent to agent. - Approved Profile - If the agent's Profile is in good order, then Samantha sends the agent an email through the EPMS to notify the agent that their Profile has been Approved. Hiring Manger is copied on this email.
Click Here to view a sample of the Approval email sent to agent. - Surancebay - Once the Profile is approved, the contracting info and docs are loaded into the Surancebay system by Samantha, and then the agent will receive an email for each carrier through the Surancebay system.
Samantha sends the Surancebay emails to the agents.
Click Here to view a sample of the Surancebay email sent to agent. - Guided Start-Up to Access Agent Dashboard - After agent completes Surancebay emails they are required to go through the Guided Start-Up to access the full agent dashboard. Agents can't print applications until they have full access to the dashboard. You can print apps after this step!!! :):)
- Verified to buy leads- Once an agent completes the Surancebay emails, they can request access to OPT. Within 30 minutes during business hours, the Agent will receive the Verified email. The Hiring Manager is copied on this email.

GPM Contracting:
- GPM does not use the Surancbay system.
- As of 04/01/2019, Equis will be contracting all new agents.
- Samantha will send a daily email to Equis with new agents to be contracted with GPM.
- Equis will initiate contracting through GPM's website.
- Agents will receive email direct from GPM to complete contracting.
Nassau Contracting:
- Nassau requires E&O to process e-app, but agents can register for e-app system and submit an e-app without E&O.
- As of 04/01/2019, Samantha will be sending the Surancebay email to all agents for Nassau, regardless of E&O status.
- The contracting request for Nassau will be held at Equis until agent submits first e-app, regardless of E&O status.
- MANAGER must notify agent as soon as e-app is submitted to buy E&O and email certificate to Samantha.
- Samantha will load into Surancebay and then Equis submit contracting to Nassau.
- Oxford does not use the Surancebay system.
- Hiring manager sets up a Contracting Invite through the Oxford website.
- Oxford then sends an email to the agent with link to complete contracting.
- Use Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser only to send invite and tell your agent to use this browser when clicking on the link in the email.
